Atmosphere
BRU sits on Siam Country Club Road in East Pattaya, a short drive from Mabprachan, the Darkside and central Pattaya. Inside is a bright, modern, air-conditioned cafe; outside is a large covered terrace with fans, chilled music and a relaxed roadside vibe. Free parking right outside makes it an easy stop, and the room flexes from a quick solo coffee to a family brunch to evening drinks without feeling out of place at any point.
It's firmly a daytime-leaning neighbourhood cafe rather than a destination cocktail bar — comfortable, friendly, low-key.
Coffee & Drinks
Coffee is the headline. Hot espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white and a long list of iced drinks — caramel macchiato, nutella latte, iced matcha, mint-strawberry-chocolate — are all built on quality beans and pulled with care.
Beyond coffee, BRU also pours a full bar: beers (Guinness, Budweiser buckets), wines, cocktails and spirits, plus smoothies, shakes, teas and chocolate drinks. That makes it genuinely all-day: morning latte, afternoon iced matcha, evening cold beer.
Food & Cakes
The food menu is short and well-judged. Handcrafted sandwiches, toasted croissants and croiffles, breakfast baps, bacon & egg sandwiches, sausage sub rolls — solid cafe food that pairs well with the coffee.
The cake counter is the other reason to come: BRU cheesecake, classic tiramisu, carrot cake, apple turnover, almond croissants, brownies and a rotating mini pastry box. Coffee-and-cake sets are popular and good value.
Practicalities
Open daily from 7:30 am. Roughly 10 minutes from Pattaya Beach by car. Air-conditioned cafe + covered outdoor terrace. Free WiFi, table service, and a spacious customer car park directly outside. Dine-in and takeaway, with Grab Food delivery across Pattaya for coffee, sandwiches, cakes and drinks.
Verdict
BRU is the most reliable speciality cafe in East Pattaya — not a fancy cocktail destination, just a properly run all-day neighbourhood spot that nails the coffee, the cake counter and a comfortable place to sit. Worth the short drive from town.
