The Best Coffee Near Jomtien Beach
Jomtien is where Pattaya slows down. The coffee is finally catching up with the view.

Jomtien is where Pattaya slows down. The beach is wider, the road is quieter, the pace is half a notch lower, and the cafés have started taking the coffee almost as seriously as the view. For anyone basing themselves down this end of the city — or escaping here for a morning from Central — this is the shortlist.
Best for the actual coffee
If you're south of Pratumnak and you want a properly pulled espresso, Banlay Home Cafe is the smart move. It's a few minutes back from the beach in a leafy residential pocket, but the coffee is among the best in Jomtien and the room is a calm antidote to a busy morning.
For something a touch more polished, Day Drip on Jomtien Beach Road has built a reliable specialty programme around a small rooftop bar. The espresso is consistent, the milk drinks are textured properly, and the view at golden hour does the rest.
Best for sea-facing seats
Sunny Beach House Pattaya has the most direct beachfront set-up of the lot — white timber, blue accents, the sea a few steps from your table. The coffee won't blow you away, but the smoothie bowls, light brunch menu and slow service feel exactly right for a long Jomtien morning.
The Blue Veranda is the brunch-leaning option a little further along the beach. Pool-side palms, fresh juices, a properly buttery croissant, and a kitchen that handles eggs better than most of its neighbours.
Siri's Beach Café is the casual third option — rattan chairs, low tables, an iced latte for after a swim and a cold beer for after that. Not a destination; a perfect default.
Best for a sunset
Day Drip again. Get there by 5pm on a clear day, order something cold, and stay for two. The rooftop angle works brilliantly with the way the sun drops over the gulf this time of year.
How to plan a Jomtien coffee day
- 8:30am — espresso and a quiet start at Banlay Home Cafe.
- 10:30am — late brunch and a swim at The Blue Veranda or Sunny Beach House.
- 2pm — iced drinks and a long sit at Siri's.
- 5pm — rooftop sundowners at Day Drip.
- 7pm — walk five minutes back to the beach for the rest of the evening.
You can do Jomtien on coffee alone for an entire day, and not feel like you've done anything wrong. That's a relatively new thing for this part of Pattaya.
Skip the resort-buffet lattes. The cafés above will do you a better cup, a better view, and a better morning — usually for less money.
